Are there many balls in the hall?
Is there a dog in the bedroom?
Draw a BIG house on the board and practice all the different rooms in the house. You can draw “terrible” pictures of each room for a laugh then write the name of each room underneath.
Print out some objects and scatter them all over the house in different rooms. The pictures MUST represent single objects, objects that have SOME in the image and images that represent MANY!
You can then ask the students question relating the the big house. For example:
Are there many cakes in the bedroom?
Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.
