I have to study English at school.
I don’t have to run 10km everyday.


Create a situation where you can use the target language. I chose a school as the students can easily relate to it.
Make sure that you make a differentiation between YOU MUST NOT and YOU DON’T HAVE TO as these are completely different grammar concepts and shouldn’t be confused.

Use flashcards to try and elicit sentences from the students. Here are some examples:
