Phonic practice

This is a really quick activity to help the student distinguish two similarly sounding words. Give a sheet to each student. The students start at the top and listen to the ALT. The ALT will then say either “C or E”, the students draw a line done the line they think they heard. The next level is either “D or P”. When the students are done the AET will say either “D or P”. Keep doing this until you finish and check to see what number they all finished up in. All the kids who finished at the correct number get an award.

You can do it again with the second tree. This one focuses on numbers.
